Awesome as usual, great food, great service. I highly recommend coming here

The crawfish we had were excellent- spot on with spice, flavor, size and texture. I haven't had as perfect crawfish anywhere else so far. Maybe it was an exceptional night, but other people in the dining room were raving! The heads were actually worth sucking! ;-D Besides the food, the wait people were friendly and helpful, and their service was timely. I look forward to going back!

Says CAJUN on outside but only a few Cajun items on the menu. I had oysters/fried I could have purchased nicer, larger oysters from KROGERS!Not bad but not super either!

This was my first time eating at Rosie Jo's and the food was delicious!!! The staff was so friendly and kind also. The picture I'm posting is what's left over because I had so much food that I had enough to take home for another meal!!! I ordered the fried duck, fried fish, fried fish with onion rings and it comes with coleslaw and two hushpuppies. The amount of food you get for the price is a great deal. Oh, and I ordered the Voodoo Shrimp as an appetizer, but I forgot to take a pic. . .they were delicious also!!!

The boudin balls are great! However the crawfish boil, Cajun shrimp Alfredo, and crawfish étouffée had NO seasoning. Food wasn’t good and service was slow.

OMG, this place was AMAZING!!! We came for a late lunch on a Sunday during a road trip on our way back to Monroe. My husband & oldest son got the all-you-can-eat seafood platter & it worth SO MUCH MORE than the cost. Everything was seasoned perfectly & they make all their sauces/dressings at the restaurant. This is a MUST dining experience!!! We even asked if they had relatives in NELA so that they could open up one closer to us. We will DEFINITELY have to make another road trip JUST to come back!!!

1st time eating Louisiana food. 10/10 highly recommended

One of the best crawfish restaurants I've been to !

The crawfish was awesome juicy and hot nice and spicy! The boudin balls are the best I've ever had! Prices were reasonable and friendly service! Went on Friday night and they were packed but we had no complaints sat at the bar and all was well!

I got the seafood alfredo, my husband got a triple combo of fried fish, oysters and duck and we both really enjoyed our meals. We also had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer. We both had leftovers. We found the prices reasonable for seafood and our waitress was very attentive. We were there early, around 5:30pm and there was no wait to be seated and our food arrived very quickly. If we pass this way again we will definitely return to Rosie Jo's!

Just wow. Great Cajun cooking and ot e pensive at all.

Love this place. Still not as good as the Original Rosie Jo's on Jackson because the EZ peeled boiled shrimp was one of a kind there but everything else seems to have stayed delicious!! Again, Love this place!! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for great seafood!!

I came for the crawfish boil, but was told by the waitress it was out of season for another couple weeks. She suggested instead the all you can eat shrimp and fish. All of it was fantastic tasting and on top of that, they give a great discount for military. Will definitely recommend this establishment!

One word terrible smh. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo an got just buttered noodles with undercooked shrimp on top of it, no Alfredo sauce what so ever, just plain noodles and shrimp. I’m a highly disappointed customer.

Great local place, food was good and the staff was phenomenal. Descent beer selection, highly recommend the bread pudding! Definitely a good stop during crawfish season.

Food and service was great.

Their 20 to 25 minute wait became an hour and a half. Meanwhile a couple came in and apparently no wait was even mentioned to them. I get it, when you're busy you're busy. But at least be honest about it so people don't waste an hour+ of their time on Mother's Day. Mine didn't even get dropped until an hour after I'd called...again, supposed to be done in 25 minutes.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! We literally had the worse service and dealt with the rudest manager! We have been here In the past before and it was always decent, but now I would never waste another penny there! Make sure toGo over your reciepts at the end of your dinner bc they will over charge you and try to argue until they get it. We love going to restaurants as a family and I’m very understanding when it comes to semi bad service. I never complain about the price because we surely don’t mind spending the money but I don’t agree with over charging your customers for a mistake the waitress made. Sadly even when I have a semi bad service I always tip the waitress because I knowThings can get hectic, I was a waitress before but being over charged and literally getting the worseService I have ever received,we left no tip! If you are looking for a good restaurant,this is not the one!

We are from central illinois visiting and we don't have good cajun. Omg! This was amazing and the staff was so amazing. We had a food orgasm it was the best. The staff was so nice thank u for being nice and awesome. We all could use a little more of that. ❤❤❤❤❤

this almost made it to 4 stars but i have to hold one back. i got the 'lil jon' which is a platter of 3 lbs of crawfish, 1 1/2 of shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage. i cant complain about the food - properly seasoned, nice heat level, good portion. price was a little high, but i can live with that. but the place is pretty beat down inside. its one thing to be a 'dive' and kind of worn out, but dirty is another situation. tons of messy tables that took way too long to get cleared off, maybe some of that can be contributed to a lack of help. bathroom is pretty atrocious, on par with a gas station. i dont expect some modern contemporary experience but they could spruce the place up a bit. still, had a great meal and id consider returning.

When we walk into the Restaurant we were welcome with a happy smiling face and they make you feel at home the food is great and the Waitress were professional and Courteous

This is a tucked away secret. It was here that I tried my first crawfish and have been addicted ever since, but none beats that first bite here. And their andouille sausage is honestly so good. Couldn't have enough of it.

Order was called in and we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. When we arrived they had not yet started preparing our food. We were told that our order would be out soon; however, we waited another hour before it was finished.They said the kitchen was backed up. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but I would have rather been told up front about how long the wait time would be. There were several other customers waiting a similar amount of time for their food. Mean while they are still taking orders over the phone saying it's just a 25 minute wait. It felt very misleading. The quality of the food is not good enough to deal with the poor service.

Good food. Think we were shorted on the fried mushrooms. They barely covered the bottom of the basket. The table wasn't very clean. There was food splater on the mustard bottle, the rosie jo's seasoning, and one of the stand up menu type things.

Food was good. A little expensive. Very casual. But everything we had was very good.

Must visit when in Alexandria. Good eats!

Reading some of the negative reviews about slow service I would not have gone here. But we were with a group of 18 people so I went along. The service was excellent, the food was very good and I thought the prices were in line. I will definitely go here again.

Waiter was nice. Small portions on seafood platter. Shrimp were very greasy. Mac n cheese was cold. A bit pricey. Very loud.

Took forever food. I ordered fired pickles as a appetizer, they never came. Waitress reported they lost the fired pickles when she brought out the crawfish. First time here and not impressed.

In town on a job, found this place on trip advisor... Had lunch on Sunday, went back for dinner on Thursday before we left town! All You Can Eat fish, fried shrimp & boiled shrimp...YUM! BOILED SHRIMP WAS AMAZING!

Great environment and very friendly service.

We got boiled shrimp and it was seasoned great. We also got the grilled duck for an appetizer and it was also very good. The owner came out and checked on us and the waitress was very nice. Very good experience.

Limited menu with alot of fried options. Shrimp boil was seasoned ok. Gumbo wasn't as good as i had hoped for but perhaps they are off some with all the covid issues right now.

1st time eating here. We just had an amazing meal. Fried duck,grilled duck,shrimp,boudin balls,fish,voodoo shrimp everything was so good. Service was awesome the chef even came outside and asked if we were having truck problems. And asked if we enjoyed the food. We absolutely did. The chef knew what he was doing. The duck was cooked perfectly. He was very nice. Thanks Rosie Jo's for an amazing lunch . We will definitely be back .

I would like to thank Brandon, our server at Rosie Jo's today for taking such good care of us. Myself, my husband John, and son Morgan ate lunch there and were very pleased with the service and the food. Brandon kept a good watch on our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Great service and great food. We are never disappointed when we eat here. Love y'all

Rosie Jo's is a regular haunt for many of us who live nearby. If you love your crawfish, there's none better. I dabble around the menu, last time I had their shrimp fettuccine, very good thick rich sauce.
